THE BEST PLACES TO VISIT

Within a half hour drive you can reach the coastline from The Burlands.

Located in the heart of North Devon, you will be truly spoilt by stunning scenery, coastline, moorland and some of the best beaches that the UK has to offer.

Instow North Devon.
INSTOW

A lovely beach, on the estuary of the rivers Taw and Torridge. There are a number of restaurants in this little village such as The Boathouse which are definitely worth a visit.

Croyde Beach North Devon.
CROYDE

One of the best surfing beaches in the country if not the world. Croyde is nice village to wander around and find refreshment although is very busy in the summer months.

Appledore North Devon.
APPLEDORE

A unique fishing village with lovely, quaint side streets with small shops to visit and places to eat all year round.

Saunton Beach North Devon.
SAUNTON BEACH

One of the longest beaches in the UK, great for surfing and for walkers. Very busy in the summer.

Clovelly North Devon.
CLOVELLY

Another beautiful fishing village, you need strong legs for this village with it's steep, cobbled street leading up from the harbour to the mainland.

Dunster Exmoor National Park UK.
EXMOOR

Exmoor National Park occupies part of North Devon and Somerset. You have a number of places to see such as Lynton, Lynmouth, Porlock and the historic market town of Dunster. All of which are beautiful places and still unspoilt.
